Rolex has proven time and again that a black dial dive watch doesn't have to be boring – so why have so many watch companies become stuck in iterative design? The new, current gen Rolex Submariner ref. 124060 – the Platonic ideal of a dive watch? When I .,150.00

I have three Oris watches, an F1 and two first generation BC3's. I first became aware of Oris from someone in the jewelry and watch repair business in NYC who thought they were good watches. Easylink vs glidelock observations. I've had my 114060 since 2018 and wore it most days during that time, rotating primarily with a PAM. I love the glidelock, since my wrist swells and contracts significantly during the day--especially in the summer, going from outdoor heat to indoor AC, and with that clasp, I was always able to get a good fit. On the downside for me: the Zulu vs. GMT hand movement is frustrating (I travel a bit and prefer ‘true gmt’ hand operation), I can’t wear the leather strap because the clasp irritates my wrist (which means it’s a bit hard for me to dress it up), and the watch is a bit tall (though 1.5mm thinner than the PO GMT). I think both are solid choices! If it was my money I like the Omega better especially if you can get it grey at a discount, but that Panerai is cool and very distinctive. Just seems like you already have a lot of black dials. __________________. Rolex: James Cameron 126660, 126710BLNR jubilee. Submariner vs GMT. Finally in the market for a new Rolex.
