The gen insert is very expensive, but it's such an important part of the watch and the Noob v7 insert sucks because it's too dark, especially in low light. An excellent alternative is platinum plating by a member called @ d09624008 .

I love my V7 but it doesn't compare really, I mean look at the dial, insert. all very expensive things to put right, as well as the crystal to a lesser degree. I adore the watch but the flaws get to me and the only way to get round them is to go gen/uber franken which I don't have the money for.
