The challenge with this rebrand was to ensure that the history of the fashion house is respected, whilst also ushering in a new era which is aligned with modern values. Like most major fashion brands, Prada has stepped up its sustainability game this year. In June 2019, the Italian fashion house announced the launch of its Re-Nylon range, together with a commitment to use only recycled nylon by the end of 2021 .Prada Group’s environmental initiatives encompass carbon emission reduction, renewable energy investments, energy consumption reduction efforts, industrial heating system electrification and transitioning to a more sustainable vehicle fleet, with nearly 54% of its fleet now consisting of green vehicles.
