When it comes to affordable watches, the SARB033 is the best daily watch in my collection due to certain features all coming together that play off each other incredibly well. With the fluted bezel I feel the watch has a visual presence larger than 36mm size. If you are looking for the smooth bezel, I would recommend as others have, the Oyster Perpetual at 39mm. If you need the date, the 36mm is a great option. The SARB033 is worth it to me. The case-inspired by the Grammar of Design-is gorgeous, the size is perfect, and the features are hard to match. The dial, with the SEIKO logo and Automatic in script, is tastefully done, and the lume and 100M water resistance make it incredibly versatile. You can see why the SARB033 is often mentioned as an alternative to the Rolex Explorer. As a package, the SARB033 is a looker that fits any occasion. Another popular variant is the SARB035.

There were many things that attracted me to this decision including these four main points: Seiko’s brand history and heritage is hard to ignore; A simple yet effective watch design; An unbeatable price (something which we've all come to expect from Seiko) Seiko also released a slightly more refined version of the SARB033 with a price slightly above 0. The difference is very minuscule, but if you’re really gong-ho about getting THAT PERFECT piece, you may want to consider the SARB021.
