Apologies for the radio silence on this but I was trying to give Breitling the chance to rectify the problems. It appears to be mainly a software issue, but at least 2 of the 4 watches . The next time I have to block a left hook from my wife and her wedding ring scrapes my ceramic bezel I'll have some evidence, but I think ceramic can scratch given .

As of October 5, 2020 Breitling had AD's (USA at least) stop using the electronic warranty cards and switched to a credit card style card that is activated via a smartphone app. .
Apologies for the radio silence on this but I was trying to give Breitling the chance to rectify the problems. It appears to be mainly a software issue, but at least 2 of the 4 watches have also had a physical issue with the crown sticking, including the most recent one.
The next time I have to block a left hook from my wife and her wedding ring scrapes my ceramic bezel I'll have some evidence, but I think ceramic can scratch given contact with a harder material. Conversely, when a softer material meets the ceramic it can transfer a (removable) mark.
Instead, I contacted Breitling's customer service, and Breitling picked up the tab to have the watch shipped back to them. They also expedited the repair, and it has worked perfectly ever since. At the end of the day, I certainly hope that your watch has now been repaired to your satisfaction, and that you will have the opportunity to truly .

I am looking to have just the battery and gaskets serviced, unless of course they find something else.

The COSC certificates have an RFID chip that can be read by a device that the AD's will have in the store.Breitling offers essential services for your watch, including maintenance, complete servicing, and authenricity certification by certified experts. Find out how to request your service, check service status, discover service prices, and learn how to care for your watch. Actually I find it easier to fix up a brushed finish.. you just use a 15 and 30 micron polishing cloth or a nail polishing block or a fiberglass refinishing pen, and its back to new. without those tiny hairlines that plague polished bracelets . Breitling are absolute scrap. They are completely aware of crown problems and fail to solve it, because they get £800 to fix it. I’ve had a Sthurling automatic chronograph for 10 years. £99 and never missed a beat or lost a minute.
