I've soloed through OP8 with two characters and unlocked OP8 with two more. To be perfectly frank, I gibbed the level of my gear every level or every other level. The gauntlet runs are hard. It's possible to run the OP Peak with under leveled gear, but it's incredibly hard even with at level gear, and only gets much much harder as you level up .
